Our lifetime worth of *TOOL RANKINGS* are updated every week:
Ridgid kit: Drill:
DCD805: That said, the M18 is currently $98:
Ryobi:
Today we see if buying the top from brands like Milwaukee with their 2904, DeWALT, Makita XGT, Bosch and FLEX are worth it, or maybe traditionally less expensive cordless drills can get close enough to do the same jobs, including RIDGID R861152, DeWALT DCD805, Ryobi PBLHM101 and Parkside.

  1. The achilles heel of the Ryobi is sudden increases in demand from the tool, which the board will as a result shut it down. Some of the gradual increases in demand when testing the tool suit it more here, but in use we find if you feel a snag it will play it safe and shut the tool off. So that’s some usage vs testing that’s worth knowing.

  2. I think the Parkside would do better with the 4 Ah battery, and there is a 60 Nm brushless model which via a current+voltage test elsewhere was shown to get to 600 W. Also, this Parkside is an old model, now the same is 45 Nm
