  1. Thanks for the video…. I think HF set a spec and have different grades of materials for different price points. They could make the spec higher but they suspect their customer may not pay or hard to justify…. Alll in all, it is good to have alternatives……

  2. I bought crappy wrenches out of a Homer truck sale. 20 years I have pounded them expecting them to break yet the whole set is still functioning.

  3. Skips 15 16 & 18. You know it’s not made for the American market. One of those be the first one you need 😂

The V-Grove doesn’t serve any purpose. Mac Tools ditched the v-grove wrenches years ago.

The Icon are missing the 7 8 & 9 mm. You probably won’t ever use the 9mm but the 7 and 8 you need it, but they don’t sell it.

Harbor freight don’t sell single wrenches and sockets at all. Just a handful of popular lugnut sizes. No singles outside of that. So if you lose one I guess you can buy a snap-on or something else but then you have mismatched set of wrenches or sockets. Screw that!

I did use a 9mm once on an aftermarket brake caliper!

Tool sets that skip sizes are not for professionals. Tool stores that don’t sell single wrenches or sockets is sort of dumb.

Tekton has some cheaper line of tools and they do sell singles. I’d buy those.
